From the moment Adam and Eve sinned, God has had something planned to rescue the world from sin. We've been introduced to faith with Noah and Abraham. God is getting ready to fan into flame his plan. But it all starts with a spark. This is the beginning of the story of Moses. Exoduse 1-4.

Genesis 40-50 tells the rest of Joseph's saga. The final pieces reveal God at work behind the scenes. And the end of Joseph's life is the beginning of another piece to God's plan for salvation.

Genesis 12, 15, 17. Abraham is the father of the faith, where God specifically began the journey of creating a nation of priests through which one day His Son would be born. But it begins with God calling this one man among the pagan world; calling him to leave, believe and bless the world!

Sept 5/6, 2009 begins a year and 1/2 at HSM of preaching through the story of the bible. It won't be verse by verse but it will cover the key narrative of the bible's story and message. It starts like all great stories, "In the Beginning..."

700 years before Jesus was born, a prophet named Isaiah had an encounter with God that changed his life. For 2 weeks, we'll look at Isaiah 6:1-8 and see what it may say for us today about getting a fresh start with God.
